Hauz Khas

Hauz khas village is social hub of delhi's youth.

Here you will find maximum youth for photoshoots, movie shoots etc.

It is also known as Tazim Ka Chota Quila.

It was built in 13th century by Allauddin Khilji.

Hauz khas is surrounded by deer park and a very beautiful lake with swans and ducks which is a major attraction.

Safdarjung Tomb


Safdarjung was the last tomb by the Mughal emperors enclosed with a garden.
It was built in 1753-54 by the Mughal emperor Mohammad Shah.

It has several other small pavilions like Moti Mahal, Jangli Mahal and Badshah Pasand.

 The complex also has a madarsa. The archaeological Survey of India maintains a library over the main gateway.

Tughlaqabad fort


Tughlaqabad fort is one the the destroyed fort in Delhi. this fort was built by Ghiyas-ud-din Tughlaq, the founder of Tughlaq dynasty.

Its faced with a red sandstone, relieved with marble.

This fort is 6km long and is considered as haunted.

This fort was built in 1321, but it was established in 1327.

Chandni Chowk

Chandni chowk is one of the oldest and busiest market in Delhi.

Where you can buy suits and sarees with all latest design. 

It was built by Shahjahan in 17th century and
further it was designed by her daughter Jahanara.

It is located near old Delhi railway station and is one of the best wholesale market in Delhi.

Dilli Haat

Dilli Haat a place where you will find different culture of India. From clothing till food everything is here.
 those who love handicraft and traditional stuff then this is the nest place for this.

Here you have food stall where you can taste flavours of different states in Delhi.

It was inaugurated in 1994 and since then it is a place where you can find the best handicraft and handloom.

Many cultural shows festivals take place every month .

Lodhi Garden

The old lady Willington park known as Lodhi garden now has many mosque and bridges.

The tombs of Muhammad Shah and Sikandar Lodhi are the good examples of octagonal tombs. Shish and Bara Gumbad are square tombs with imposing dome, turrets on corners and facades giving false impression of being double stored.


It is a favorite point for early morning walkers from the posh south Delhi colonies.

Akshardham Temple

The Swaminarayan Akshardham complex was built in only five years.

Through the blessings of HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS)

The colossal devotional efforts of 11,000 artisans and thousands of BAPS volunteers.

Heralded by the Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Comprehensive Hindu Temple, the complex was inaugurated on 6 November, 2005.

Jamali Kamali

Jamali Kamali Mosque and Tomb, located in the Archaeological Village complex in Mehrauli, Delhi, India, comprise two monuments adjacent to each other; one is the mosque and the other is the tomb of two persons with the names Jamali and Kamali.

Their names are tagged together as "Jamali Kamali" for the mosque as well as the tomb since they are buried adjacent to each other. The mosque and the tomb were constructed in 1528-1529, and Jamali was buried in the tomb after his death in 1535.

Majnu ka Tila

Majnu ka Tila also known as Tibetan colony.

It is a part of North Delhi District.The historic name of area, literally means the hillock of Majnu, after the Tila.

Here you can find the true colors of Tibet.
Many Tibetan  refugees migrated to Delhi and formed their own colony. They have monastery where they worship. You can try variety of Tibetan food and clothing. We can notice variety of culture here.

Sanjay Van

Sanjay Van is a forest area near Vasant Kunj and Mehrauli.
Its has an area of 783 acres.

This place is the best peaceful place in Delhi.

This place is also considered as haunted as many para nominal activities has been spotted at night.

People also say that here is a blue cow (neel bail) which is said to be  blue in color.

Connaught Place

Connaught place is the biggest financial, commercial market in India.

It is considered as center of Delhi or the heart of Delhi.
 It is one biggest shopping hubs in Delhi, where you will find all branded showrooms.
 CP is known for its best night life and lounges here.

Construction of CP was started in 1929 and ended in 1933.
Here you also have Janpath where you find fashionable yet cheap clothes.
Near Janpath there is a small market where you will find Rajasthani attires and lehengas with all hand work.

Nigambodh Ghat

                                          Nigambodh ghat is located at banks of yamuna river in New Delhi.

                                                  People here take bath and ceremonial steps.

Its is known as the most oldest burning ghat in Delhi for Anyesti.
Hindu funeral rites and also one of the busiest with 50-60 pyres buring everyday. 

It is believed that it was on this ghat during Mahabharat era, lord Bramha, Hindu god of creation, had bathed and recoverd his lost memories and scared books and hence the name Nigambodh Ghat, literally realization of knowledge.
